Arash Massoudi

Finance and Markets Editor

Arash Massoudi is finance and markets editor based in London, where he has worked since 2014. Arash joined the FT in 2011 and has also worked in the New York bureau where he covered capital markets. He previously served in the US government's commerce department.

Arash's reporting with colleagues on companies including Greensill Capital, Tesla, SoftBank and HNA Group has been recognised for journalism awards in the UK, US and Asia.

Arash is the editor and co-creator of Due Diligence, the FT's newsletter briefing on finance and deals. He also helped create and launch the FT's sport business coverage and the weekly Scoreboard sports newsletter. Arash hosts two annual FT conferences - DD Live and the Business of Football Summit - in London.
