Antoine Gara

US private & institutional capital correspondent

Antoine Gara is the US private & institutional capital correspondent at the Financial Times. He covers buyout firms, their deals and the broader private capital industry in the US.

Previously, he was a senior editor at Forbes Magazine where he was a features and investigations writer covering finance and investing. He won a 2020 SABEW Best in Business award for his writing on Robinhood and spent the first part of his career at Lehman Brothers and Barclays.
